Jackson Hewitt is looking for motivated Tax Preparers to join our Phoenix, AZ team for the upcoming tax season! Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work from January through April, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your financial expertise and help clients navigate tax season with confidence.

Prepare accurate federal and state income tax returns for individual clients

Interview clients to gather necessary financial and personal information

Identify eligible tax credits, deductions, and exemptions to maximize client refunds

Review and verify tax documents including W-2s, 1099s, and other financial records

Maintain client confidentiality and ensure data security compliance

Deliver outstanding customer service and clearly explain tax return outcomes to clients

Meet productivity and quality standards during peak tax season

Prior tax preparation experience preferred, but training will be available

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and financial data

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule January through April, including weekends

Basic computer proficiency and comfort with tax preparation software

High school diploma or equivalent required

PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) or willingness to obtain one
