Temp Dispatcher

Summary:
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for taking calls and organizing the daily routes for sales and service technicians. The main duties center around achieving a fuel and time-efficient route.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Coordinate and optimize daily schedules and service routes for HVAC and plumbing technicians to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Dispatch technicians based on skill set, location, availability, job priority, and estimated completion times.
Monitor technician schedules throughout the day and make real-time adjustments to keep jobs moving and minimize delays.
Communicate clearly with technicians and customers regarding appointments, scheduling changes, job status, and service needs.
Use dispatching and scheduling technology to streamline operations, improve response times, and maintain accurate job information.
Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive service calls while balancing the overall workload and technician availability.
Track daily routes and appointments to ensure technicians have the information, tools, and time needed to complete jobs successfully.
Work closely with management, technicians, and customers to resolve scheduling conflicts and keep field operations running smoothly.
Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and quick decision-making are essential.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching.
Trades knowledge is a plus.
Strong customer service and data entry skills.
