Senior Compliance Paralegal

Senior Litigation ParalegalA leading law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal for its St. Louis office. This role takes a lead position in providing all legal processes including depositions, trial preparation, and trial execution, with a focus on toxic tort litigation, and is expected to meet or exceed a billable hour model.The Senior Litigation Paralegal leads the team in researching, drafting, and revising discovery, motions, judgments, and dismissals, and in conducting legal research and compiling materials to prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials. Responsibilities include attending and assisting in trials, providing case evaluations and settlement value assessments based on prior settlement history, and preparing, executing, and filing court documents, including electronic filings, UCC filings, and pleadings. The role also manages compliance deadlines through docketing, drafts client correspondence for attorneys, and may include preparing discovery production, scheduling depositions, checking case citations, working with experts, and serving as a client point of contact.Candidates should have a high school diploma (Associate's degree in paralegal studies preferred), a paralegal certificate or degree, and 5+ years of experience in the legal industry (litigation paralegal experience preferred), along with strong Microsoft Office skills. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite per week, with 8% travel.
