Our mission is to support California farmers and communities by providing farmers’ markets for our diverse Bay Area neighborhoods. PCFMA currently manages over 30 farmers’ markets, making us the oldest and largest farmers’ market association on the West Coast!
They’re thriving hubs where farmers connect directly with communities, important sources of healthy food, fun destinations, and vital sales channels for farmers. The Director of Operations and their team ensures regulatory compliance while coordinating with local stakeholders and internal teams to ensure the farmers market is successful.
What You'll Do Lead the Operations Team: Guide and motivate a dedicated team responsible for market operations, logistics, and compliance.
Nurture Market Success: Collaborate with local stakeholders, farmers, and vendors to ensure each market flourishes.
Champion Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulations and standards, building trust and transparency.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (preferred) in related field, or equivalent experience.
This position requires use of a personal vehicle to transport necessary items for work and will be reimbursed for mileage at the federal rate.
