Hospital Total Bed Count: 120 Unit Bed Count: 18 rooms, 5 alcoves, 3 hallways Call Required? No Floating to other units Required? Pyxis EMR System: Cerner, Launchpoint IV Teams: Hospital has a PICC team. Lift Teams: No Pharmacy Hours: 24 / 7 for the whole hospital. Phlebotomy available on unit? 2 shifts. 8am to 8pm shift and 12pm to 12am shift. Transport Team: Not for the Emergency Department Unit Secretary on Unit: Yes, 2 shifts, 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. Hospitalist: If yes, please clarify hours: 24/7 Special Equipment: Ultrasound used by the providers for IV insertion. Brain cool machine for Targeted Temp Management. Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Acute care facility experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Department Specific License/Certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI): Required National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale: Required Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
