LabCorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR . Work Schedule: 3rd Shift
Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

1 years or more experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital

• 1 years or more of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment
• 1 years or more experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience

Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
