As a Security Officer Screening Desk in Ladson SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will help monitor access points screen visitors and/or deliveries and support site protocols through strong communication and customer service. This role offers the chance to stay active use technology and contribute to a caring agile team that values reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while helping to reduce security-related concerns.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to visitors drivers and/or employees by carrying out screening procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry points check identification and/or shipping documentation and report unusual activity prohibited items or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support overall site operations.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
