General Pediatrician Position Details - Paterson, NJ

Adding a 3rd Pediatrician due to continued growth

Permanent, full-time or part-time opportunity

Pediatric practice led by a physician with 31+ years serving the community

Busy outpatient pediatric setting with established patient volume

2-story office with plans to expand by 4-5 additional exam rooms and clinical staff growth

EMR: eClinicalWorks with AI scribe technology

Onsite LabCorp specimen collection

Affiliated with St. Joseph’s; practice owner maintains privileges with Hackensack

Meaningful opportunity to serve the community while leveraging Spanish fluency skills

Schedule & Clinical Details for the Spanish-Bilingual General Pediatrician

Full-time schedule: 5 days/week

Part-time schedule: 2-3 days/week

Office hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-6:30 PM

No hospital admittances, newborn nursery rounding, or delivery/C-section attendance

Outpatient phone call coverage only when covering another physician’s absence (minimal backup call)

Large Spanish-speaking patient population

Spanish fluency preferred, not required

Currently no weekend office hours

Potential future rotation of Saturday half-days as practice continues to grow

Compensation & Benefits for the Spanish-Bilingual General Pediatrician
Full-Time Compensation

~$180,000 base salary (negotiable upon experience)

Part-Time Compensation Negotiable Upon Experience and Hours

Requirements of the Spanish-Bilingual General Pediatrician

Spanish speaking fluency required (not just medical)

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) / Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)

Board certified/eligible

Have/will complete pediatric residency

Credentialed with Medicaid

Open to all levels of experience: 2027 grads to experienced pediatricians

Unrestricted license (or ability to obtain) in New Jersey

Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)

Ability to start within 6 months of accepting an offer

Strong communication & interpersonal skills
