The opportunity Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our HR team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As an HR Manager, you will oversee team member onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations, and serve as an important partner to your local and enterprise HR teams.

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Partner with the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to attract, hire, and onboard new team members

Be a bridge between your local and wider HR team; Develop and deliver training to new and existing team members, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their job functions, policies, procedures, and opportunities for growth

Handle employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution

Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

More about you Minimum of three years of Human Resources Generalist experience, including at least two years in an HR Manager role; experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or large-scale retail environments strongly preferred

Previous experience using iCIMS, Workday, or similar HRIS system

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field preferred; Union experience a plus

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak event periods.
