Healthcare RN (Weekend Shift)

Job TitleLocal Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour. MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.# Beds 32 beds daily census 17.5 Nurse: Patient Ratios 5:1 MS 1:1, - 1:3 ICU (more of a step-down unit) IMC 1:2-1:4Required certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patients COPD, Pneumonia, AFib RVR, DKA, CIWA, CardioExperience or 'Must have' skills Must have communications skills, teamwork, put patients first, we do BSSR and Hourly Rounding, phlebotomy, IV starts, EKG, Tele monitoring, cardioversions, critical thinking skills, time managementAre RNs required to titrate drips? YesCommon titratable &/or set rate drips Pressors, Insulin, anticoagulants, epinephrine, norepinephrine, vasopressin, and angiotensin-II etc..Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? RNs are required to read their own stripsWhat brand are the tele monitors? Not specifiedCharge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? We have a department charge and a house supervisor and yes the charge nurse takes assignmentsAre there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios We have two scheduled aids each shiftRT Equipment (i.e., Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, etc.) All of this and we have RT coverage 22hrs/7Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Our shifts are 1700-0530 or 0500-1730 with a 30 meal break.
