Quality Inspector
Position: Quality Inspector Location: Devens, MA Pay Rate: $21.26/hour Shift: 1:00pm 9:00pm
We're hiring a Quality Auditor / Production Assistant to join a dedicated production team in a role supporting world-class manufacturing operations!
Submit completed audit forms to Quality Management or Departmental Supervisor at the end of each shift or audit day.
Independently perform quality checks and measurements on critical-to-quality characteristics throughout production runs.
Verify execution of pre-startup quality activities before production begins.
Quality Issue Identification and Escalation
Identify process gaps, non-conformances, and quality risks.
Immediately notify production supervision when non-compliant conditions are observed.
Ensure suspect material is identified, isolated, and managed according to Non-Conforming Material Control requirements.
Assist in quality sort activities.
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality control practices.
Knowledge of non-conforming material handling procedures and corrective action processes.
Experience in corrugated packaging manufacturing.
Experience performing quality audits, inspections, or quality assurance activities.
