Job Title Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Location Laveen, AZ | Emergency Room Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12-Hour Mid Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed Key Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care across multiple satellite ER locations in the greater area; schedule is provided in advance so clinicians know their assigned site Function as one of only two RNs on staff at satellite locations, managing a patient ratio of 4:1 Perform lab draws and IV insertions as part of standard ER staff responsibilities (no dedicated IV team on site) Operate within a Cerner EMR environment and demonstrate ventilator-capable competency Complete required Day 1 orientation testing including a pass/fail SIMs Lab assessment covering Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion , with strict adherence to sterile field technique Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start date (maximum of two attempts permitted) Required Qualifications Active RN licensure BLS certification required ACLS certification required TNCC certification required Demonstrated competency in sterile field technique, Foley catheter insertion, and port-a-cath insertion Ventilator-capable experience required COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious declination accepted Preferred Experience / Skills CPI certification preferred Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency room setting Familiarity with Cerner EMR Why Join Us Gain diverse clinical exposure across multiple ER satellite locations with scheduling transparency — your assigned site is communicated in advance Floor-specific orientation provided to set you up for success from day one Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 791022.
