Position Overview

Affinity Federal Credit Union (Affinity FCU) is looking for an experienced, results‑oriented and service‑focused Financial Services Consultant to join our team at the Bardonia, NY branch. Branch operating days are Monday‑Friday.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $57,000 - $60,000. Actual wage/salary will depend on factors such as years of relevant experience, industry experience, education, and other qualifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional member experience, build and deepen relationships, and help consumer and small‑business members succeed financially.

Engage members in conversation and ask questions to understand their most important needs, determining which products, services, and digital options best align with those needs.

Open new accounts, enroll new members in digital solutions during initial consultation, process applications, and resolve complex member issues.

Follow up with members to ensure satisfaction and improve their financial well‑being.

Stay technologically savvy, particularly regarding self‑service options, and keep abreast of evolving consumer needs and trends.

Adapt well to new or non‑traditional environments and demonstrate commitment to the community, member engagement, and Affinity’s corporate objectives.

Qualifications

3‑5 years of banking experience in a platform role.

Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous sales experience is essential.

Technology proficiency and ability to adapt to changing environments.
