Hardware Electrical Engineering

A growing organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on hardware engineer with experience designing, prototyping, validating, and supporting multi-layer PCB assemblies and integrated electrical systems.
The Electrical Engineer will work on advanced industrial hardware, including precision optical inspection devices and aerospace-grade component processing systems. Candidates can expect a collaborative engineering environment with exposure to firmware, mechanical, optical, and manufacturing teams. The role offers meaningful technical ownership, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to complex products where quality, reliability, and precision matter.
Design and support multi-layer PCB assemblies, including power delivery, signal routing, ruggedized connectors, and electrical interfaces.

• Lead board bring-up, electrical validation, troubleshooting, and hands-on lab debugging for prototype and production hardware.
• Support signal and power integrity analysis to ensure reliable system performance across operating conditions.
• Create and maintain electrical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, test procedures, and calibration documentation.
