Dr. Delphinium is looking for a friendly, creative, and dependable Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Dallas. Our sales associates are the heart of the store, greeting every guest, guiding them through floral and gift selections, and helping turn everyday purchases into meaningful moments.

This role goes beyond ringing up sales you'll build long-term customer relationships, assist with creative merchandising projects, and support the changing layouts and displays that keep our retail space looking beautiful and fresh. Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with a warm, helpful attitude

Guide guests through floral and gift selections with confidence and care

Build relationships with customers and follow up to ensure satisfaction

Educate guests about flowers, plants, and product care

Create and wrap flower arrangements in-store

Enter orders accurately in POS system and gather customer information

Assist with merchandising, product rotation, and store resets

Keep retail displays clean, organized, and well-stocked

Monitor product quality and remove expired items as needed

Open and close the register; handle cash and credit card transactions

Support phone orders and customer inquiries as needed

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations

Maintain confidentiality of customer information

Follow all company policies and maintain a professional appearance

Requirements

Guest service mentality: sociable, approachable, and genuinely helpful

Strong communication and listening skills

Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible in a fast-paced environment

Able to stay calm and tactful during difficult customer interactions

Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

Driven by creativity, with an appreciation for beauty and detail

Minimum 2 years of retail customer service experience

Gardening or "love of flowers" highly preferred

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Tobacco-free workplace; adherence to company policy required during working hours

Must pass a drug test and background check
