The unit has a total of 453 beds. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 1 in the operating room. The unit does not require floating. Staff is expected to take six call shifts per four-week schedule. The area offers various activities such as beach lounging and exploring local museums. The community is known for its unique gifts and farm-fresh produce markets.
