Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Job Description
We are seeking a Neuro Tele Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in telemetry and neuro care to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, ensuring safety and comfort while closely monitoring their health status.
Responsibilities
Manage patient care for individuals with neurological conditions and telemetry monitoring.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively, utilizing rapid response and code teams as necessary.
Administer medications and provide care following established protocols and guidelines.
Perform assessments and document patient information accurately using the required charting system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and respiratory therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Support pre/post neurosurgery patients and handle a variety of neuro diagnoses.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have at least 1 year of RN experience in a telemetry or neuro unit.
Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
Prior experience in a Level II trauma center and familiarity with neuro conditions preferred.
