About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Neurology – North Carolina Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Coastal North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required (5-6 weekend shifts per contract period)

Requirements:
Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required
Current

ACLS

and BLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required or willingness to obtain
Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Proficiency in IV placement and peripheral line management
Neurology experience strongly preferred
Willingness to float to other units as needed (travelers float first)
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Must be available to work during catastrophic events or disasters as part of emergency response protocols
