Twenty-Five bed Med-Surg, reasonable 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with a supportive manager that prioritizes patient safety and positive outcomes. Mixture of acute care, therefore having the ability to have experiences in Telemetry, occasional Pediatrics, Medical and Surgical with opportunity for growth.
Preceptor programs for new nurses to help with transition into Med-Surg and opportunities for learning/professional development such as charge nurse, preceptor, and clinical ladder program. Flexibility with self-scheduling that allows for continuing education or balance between work and personal life.
A Licensed Practical Nurse who excels in this role:
~ Provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice under supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Applicants should have a current VA or compact LPN license. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS, PALS & ASLS preferred.
