Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts.
The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed. The RN is responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, while embodying the values and safety protocols of Select Medical.
Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop an individualized plan of care.
Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record.
Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, ensuring direct patient care through the nursing process.
Effectively communicate changes in patient status to maintain continuity of care and patient safety.
Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel while employing effective decision-making and prioritization.
Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies and procedures.
Contribute positively to the unit's functioning by fostering team collaboration and communication.
BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
ACLS Certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).
