Licensed Vocational Nurse/Care Technician - Full Time

Licensed Technician Summary: VGM Fulfillment processes and ships CPAP resupply orders and medical supplies on behalf of home medical equipment suppliers. A division of VGM Group and an industry leader in fulfillment services, VGM Fulfillment is rapidly growing and looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist to join the team. The Licensed Technician will be working with medical equipment, specifically CPAPs, and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.  This role will be responsible for filtering through orders, verifying prescriptions, and communicating any concerns with customer service representatives. The individual in this role will also be responsible for ensuring that medical equipment is set correctly based on prescriptions and patient needs. This is a fast-paced position with urgent deadlines requiring strong personal drive and commitment to success.

Hours : Full-time, Monday-Friday, 1st shift [6am-2:30pm]

Properly translate CPAP machine prescription settings that comes over from home medical equipment suppliers

Pick, set and ship medical devices for all life sustaining machines (Adaptive Servo-Ventilation, etc.)

Oversite of all medical device orders to check for accuracy to the prescription

keeps timely and accurate notes of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken

Answers telephone and emails timely; Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

Maintains a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and materials.

Valid and active Iowa nursing license required [Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Respiratory Therapist (RT)]

Flexible with the ability to routinely adapt to change

Ability to work in multiple software systems at a time

Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management

Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities

Flexible in scheduling as one weekend a month may be required

Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility 25% of the workday

Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
