Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The position involves caring for patients in both pediatric and adult emergency settings.
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to critical illnesses.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
Operate medical equipment and perform technical procedures as required.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
Float between pediatric and adult emergency rooms as necessary.
Minimum of 3 years of emergency room experience required.
additional advanced EKG skills preferred for critical care experience.
Strong experience in pediatric emergency care, with the ability to handle high volumes of patients.
Experience in triage and managing both adult and pediatric cases.
Fast-paced emergency room setting with an approximate volume of 325 visits per day.
The adult ER features 36 treatment areas, while the pediatric ER includes 12 treatment areas and fast track pods.
Ratios: ICU 1:2; Pediatrics 1:4; Adults 1:4.
In-house security and support staff, including nurse aides and paramedics.
Shift Information

Shifts are 12 hours in length, with various start times including 3p and night shifts.
Weekend commitment: 4 shifts required per month, flexible scheduling options available.
Holiday requirements are expected, unless during contracted time off.
