About the Position
# Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: August 26, 2026
Location: Western North Carolina

Schedule: Four 9-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, plus rotating call coverage Highlights:
Work in a state-of-the-art 815-bed acute care facility serving as the regional referral center for western North Carolina
Variable shift assignments in Pre-Op (0630-1630), PACU (0800-1800), or Procedure Room (0730-1700) based on daily needs
Diverse case mix including adult and pediatric EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, ERBE, bronchoscopy, stent placements, and advanced procedures using Olympus scopes and ION navigational technology
Cerner EMR system with modern equipment including ERBE, Medivator, and Boston Scientific tools
Manageable call requirements: one weeknight call shift per week and two weekend call shifts per 6-week period
Work at the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region with nationally recognized quality ratings
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or Compact State
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Prior endoscopy nursing experience mandatory
Pediatric endoscopy experience preferred
Pulmonary endoscopy experience preferred
Endoscopy tech experience a plus
