The Endoscopy Lab is a fast-paced procedure-based environment specializing in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures

Teamwork, flexibility, and a strong commitment into a patient-centered care are essential in this setting

Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program

1 Year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting or completion of an RN residency program required

GI/Endoscopy, critical care, emergency, PACU or procedural experience strongly preferred

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And

CGRN - Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Plans the care of the patient

Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
