Maintenance Electrician - Journeyman 3rd Shift

Howmet Aerospace's Wichita Falls, TX facility has an opening for Maintenance A Electrician Operator.
This position offers a $3,000 signing bonus for those that meet the requirements. A Valid Journeyman's License is required

This is a Night Shift position. (Pay rate begins at $33.50 and tops out at 270 days at the rate of $36.54 (plus 2.00 shift differential)

Frequently works independently under minimal supervision to perform extremely complex tasks including the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment and building.
Electrician Maintenance 'A' may not move for two (2) years unless movement is a promotion within the department.
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal instructions, and should be able to comprehend simple to very detailed schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and the ability to setup and operate more complex equipment.
Using Computers (entering information, etc.)
Repair diagnose equipment in plant.
Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to: EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.
Selects proper tools and parts with the aid of blueprints, schematics, or diagrams - - when available.

• Uses a variety of testing devices such as leak detectors and electrical instruments.
• Maintains department in clean and orderly manner and cleans around area where equipment was repaired in a production department.
• Assist in training new employees and trainees, as assigned.
• Complies with all NEC electrical codes rules.
• Works Overtime when needed.

Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Attend all EHS training.

MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS

Mobile Equipment
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• Valid Journeyman's License.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Basic Computer skills.
Prefer to have working knowledge of plant equipment, its operation, and how to repair
Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC).
