Insurance Defense Attorney – Premises Liability & General Liability

New York Metro Area law firm with a national presence is seeking an experienced Premises General Liability Attorney to join our expanding insurance defense practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defending premises liability cases involving bodily injury claims, property damage, and related litigation. You will be responsible for handling cases from inception through resolution or trial, delivering high‑quality legal representation to our clients.

Defend property owners, management companies, and businesses in premises liability matters, including slip/trip and fall claims, negligent security, and building code violations.

Conduct depositions, site inspections, and legal research.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of New York laws and procedures relevant to general liability claims.

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in premises/general liability defense litigation .

Strong litigation and case management skills.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management systems.

Experience with high‑exposure and complex litigation cases.
