RN Temporary Nights - ICU

Registered Nurse In Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. Patient ratio during shifts is expected to be 2 patients per nurse. Experience with the charting system Epic is preferred. Understanding of isolation precautions and infection prevention measures is important. Interpretation of arterial blood gases and monitoring dysrhythmias are required skills. Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is beneficial. Ability to respond to medical emergencies and manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction is crucial. Support services available include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others. Patient demographics include adults with diagnoses such as stroke, CHF, STEMI, COPD, CKD, DKA, and overdose.
