Payroll/HR Generalist/Manufacturing

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in aluminum extrusion, is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources department supporting manufacturing operations. Job Title: HR Generalist
Shift: Days (40 hours)
Providing administrative support for manufacturing and HR functions, including scheduling interviews and meetings

Maintaining employee personnel files and inputting data into HR systems such as PeopleSoft and OAS

Monitoring attendance, FMLA, sick leaves, and resolving payroll issues

Supporting compliance with employment laws and bargaining unit agreements

Ability to work in a plant environment and handle sensitive information appropriately

Experience with MS Office tools, Outlook, and HR systems like PeopleSoft and Oracle

Familiarity with bargaining unit contracts and employment law compliance

Potential for flexible work arrangements after initial onboarding

Engagement in meaningful HR support activities

Development of valuable skills in HR and manufacturing operations
