Registrar Part Time 1st Shift

This stable, morning schedule allows you to wrap up your workday by 10:00 AM, leaving your afternoons completely free!
In this vital frontline role, you will be the welcoming face and voice for patients, ensuring they gain seamless access to medical care while accurately handling essential intake processes. If you are a proactive multi-tasker with a strong customer service background in the medical industry, we want to hear from you. 21.33 - $21.34 per hour
shift: Complete accurate intake paperwork, registration, and pre-registration workflows for all incoming patients.
Calculate, explain, and collect necessary patient financial liabilities, such as copayments and deductibles, in a hospitable manner.
Navigate and maneuver through multiple computer systems, entry databases, and software windows in a timely, accurate manner.
Maintain absolute compliance with all HIPAA regulations to secure sensitive patient data.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, financial guarantors, and insurance providers.
Travel occasionally to designated regional outpatient off-site facilities if required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a high-volume healthcare facility or medical office setting.
High School Diploma or GED required (must be able to provide a physical copy upon request).
Working knowledge of medical insurance frameworks, billing practices, and medical terminology.
Exceptional customer service skills alongside strong English spelling, reading, and basic mathematical capability.
Proven typing speed of at least 45 words per minute (WPM).
