Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform selected medical assisting and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a physician.Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the JobRoom patients, take and document vital signs, and assist provider with medical exam.Ensures quality of care through evaluation of patients for immediate medical care and reports to provider.Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians. Assist with scheduling of appointments as required for inside or outside health care providers, including hospital/out-patient surgeries.Collaborates with the Medical Provider regarding phone messages, pharmacy refills and ancillary test results in a timely manner.phlebotomy, spirometry, audiometry, electrocardiography, etc.Respond to and participate in all clinical emergencies and maintenance of emergency equipment.Adhere to infection control, universal precautions, and use of personal protective equipment as needed for all patient care procedures, maintenance of equipment, and disposal of waste. Attends and participates in all mandatory nursing/administrative department meetings/in-services.In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
