Associate Attorney - Labor Law

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for their Public Entity Labor and Employment Practice Group in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, particularly within the public sector, and demonstrate excellent legal research and writing skills.
Duties Handle labor and employment matters for public and private clients.
Prepare cases for trial or arbitration, including participation in proceedings.
Conduct depositions and manage discovery processes.
Support senior attorneys with legal advice and memorandum preparation.
Develop and execute litigation plans independently.
Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in labor and employment law.
Experience with public sector clients preferred.
Knowledge of public sector labor laws and collective bargaining.
Strong writing skills, particularly in motions for summary judgment.
Ability to manage cases with limited supervision.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Active membership in the State Bar of California.
Skills Excellent legal research and analysis skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Self-starter with impeccable judgment and follow-through.
Entrepreneurial spirit and hard-working attitude.
