This Stepdown travel nurse job in Newton, Massachusetts, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. This role pays $2,146 per week and follows a rotating shift with a 3x12 schedule. Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Rotating (3x12)

Responsibilities

Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring

Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly

Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol

Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

Travel Stepdown Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Massachusetts and national regulatory bodies.
