Unarmed / Armed Security Officer Job Description:

As Security Officer you will be assigned to secure various open posts within the Halo Security Group portfolio. Security Officers also perform the daily operations at assigned locations and sites in accordance with current Post Orders, ensuring the timely completion of functions such as Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, logs, and patrols.

Consistently check your email, phone, and company applications for vital communication from the office (including spam/junk folders).

Monitor premises according to site post orders to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.

HALO’s proper uniform must be worn when on duty & maintain valid security credentials on hand.

Ensure timely completion of mandatory and optional training programs to maintain proficiency in job duties and adhere to regulatory and company standards.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills (i.e. interact with clients and visitors in a professional manner).

Carry and maintain a firearm in accordance with state/local laws and company policy.

Provide security presence in higher-risk environments.

Stay current on applicable laws, standards, and best practices for armed security.
