Industrial Maintenance TechnicianShift: 3:30pm-2:30pmOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role requires a well-rounded skill set across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, along with strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & RepairPerform preventative maintenance (PMs) and routine inspections on equipmentDiagnose mechanical failures and complete repairs independentlyIdentify equipment issues and recommend repairs or upgradesInstall, maintain, and relocate machinery as neededTroubleshooting & Technical SupportTroubleshoot equipment issues with minimal supervisionRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for diagnosticsUtilize meters and basic electrical knowledge to support repairsContact equipment manufacturers for technical support when neededFabrication & Mechanical WorkPerform general fabrication including MIG and TIG welding, plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene torch cutting, and band saw operationSupport machining tasks as needed (lathe and mill experience preferred)Facility MaintenancePerform general plumbing repairs and installations (water, air, and drain lines; sinks; toilets; etc.)Maintain and repair HVAC systems (unit heaters, furnaces, AC systems, exhaust fans, industrial ovens, etc.)Hydraulics & PneumaticsMaintain and repair pneumatic systems (air lines, valves, cylinders)Service hydraulic components (hoses, pumps, motors, valves)Equipment Operation & SupportSafely operate forklifts and scissor liftsAssist external contractors with equipment installation and repairsInventory & DocumentationMaintain inventory and control of maintenance suppliesKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeFollow all maintenance procedures and documentation requirementsContinuous Improvement & TeamworkSupport process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtimeMaintain strong working relationships across teamsParticipate in on-call maintenance rotationQualificationsBasic RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDOne of the following: 2 years technical training + 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, or8 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experienceStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsExperience with power tools and industrial equipmentAbility to read, write, and follow instructions in EnglishFlexible to work varying hours and participate in on-call rotationPreferred QualificationsExperience operating manual machines (lathe and mill)Background in multi-craft maintenance (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing)Welding and fabrication experienceWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to safely perform physically demanding tasksFrequent standing, bending, lifting, and reachingMust follow all safety protocols and use required PPEWillingness to train on a day shift for approximately 6–12 monthsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
