LabCorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team at Ascension St Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Work Schedule: 1st shift; m weekdays and every other weekend rotation
Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
High school diploma or equivalent
~6 months or more medical or clinical industry work experience

1 years or more of medical/lab experience in a hospital lab setting

Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
