We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,900 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 is open Thursday (3-8pm) and Friday - Sunday (12-8pm) with live music on Thursday evenings and Sundays. Located on a charming historic patio surrounded by 100 year old trees, 107 offers a unique outdoor dining experience.

What the Line Cook does!
As a part-time (12-24+ hours/week) Line Cook, you'll execute salads, entrees, appetizers and desserts based on the design of the Executive Chef. Working in our mobile food facility within 107 at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include:
Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasks
Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers and desserts and buffet items based on the design of the Chef de Cuisine
Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas
Working efficiently in a face-paced environment
We're currently seeking coverage for daytime shifts (Th-Su) starting between 10am and 12pm. Shifts range between 6-8 hours long, pending staffing and business levels.
Requirements
- 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
- ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
- Safe knife skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Must be available 2 days/week between Thursday - Sunday, with at least one weekend day available.
Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Handles sharp and hot tools regularly
Frequently utilizes cleaning chemicals
Drive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
