Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel)

Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment

Weekly pay: $2,006 to $2,135 per week

Shift: Day shift; Outpatient oncology clinic within a short-term acute care hospital

Weekly pay range: $Contract duration: Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days, rotating

Outpatient oncology clinic within a short-term acute care hospital

Deliver direct nursing care to oncology outpatients using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Administer prescribed therapies and supportive care, monitor patient responses, manage symptoms and adverse effects, and document care accurately.

Collect relevant patient data, develop individualized care plans, coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of the care team; Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures and assist with minor procedures as directed; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across levels; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; Active RN license in California (Required)

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification (Required)

ONCC-CHIM or equivalent oncology certification (Required)

2-3 years of recent oncology nursing experience (Required)

ability to work in an outpatient oncology clinic setting; 24/7 recruiter and travel support
