Minimum Qualifications

Possess a valid Michigan teacher certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education (ZG)
Willingness to participate in training and implementing the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) Primary Years Programme
Passion and commitment to improving learning outcomes for all students
Demonstrated ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
Ability to individualize instruction based on student needs
Responsibilities

Provide a physically and emotionally safe learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues
Create and maintain relationships with students and families
Utilize culturally relevant pedagogy in the development of lesson plans
Incorporate learning intervention practices such as Multi-Tiered System of Supports
Implement the District curriculum and provide instruction consistent with District goals
Utilize formative and summative assessments to evaluate and improve student outcomes
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by building administrator
Compensation Benefits: Pursuant to the BHEA bargaining unit agreement, the current salary range for this position is $50,336 - $114,793. Placement offer on the BHEA salary schedule is commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
