Part-Time Cafeteria Cashier

Cafeteria Cashier - Charles Street
Greet students, faculty, and staff with a friendly attitude
Operate the POS system and process cash and credit card transactions accurately
Provide fast, efficient service during busy lunch periods
Keep the cashier station clean, stocked, and organized
Answer basic questions and help create a welcoming dining experience
Assist with light front-of-house duties as needed
Help with food prep and other kitchen support before and after lunch service
Schedule:
~ Monday- Friday

~7 A.M.- 3:30 P.M.

Free on-campus parking is available.
This location is not accessible by public transportation; successful candidates must have reliable transportation.
Pay Type: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
Assist in training new culinary Team Members.
Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
SAGE Dining Services
