Head of Facility Management

Corporate Facilities ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Corporate Facilities Manager to oversee the company's facilities, construction projects, building maintenance, and workplace environments. This position will play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, well-maintained, and aligned with the company's operational and business needs.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial construction, facilities management, project management, and vendor oversight, with the ability to manage both day-to-day facility operations and larger capital improvement projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the operation, maintenance, and overall condition of corporate facilities and properties.Manage construction, renovation, remodeling, expansion, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and schedules while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Manage facility maintenance programs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building systems, security, and general repairs.Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, service providers, and other facility vendors.Solicit and evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.Conduct regular facility inspections and identify opportunities for improvements, repairs, and cost savings.Assist with facility budgets, capital planning, forecasting, and expense management.Ensure facilities comply with applicable building, safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Partner with leadership, HR, IT, Safety, and other departments to support workplace needs and business initiatives.Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and facility standards.Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate appropriate resolution.Maintain accurate facility records, project documentation, warranties, contracts, and vendor information.Travel approximately 10% to company locations, project sites, and vendor/contractor locations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in facilities management, commercial construction, construction project management, or a related field.Demonstrated experience managing construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.Strong understanding of commercial building systems, maintenance, and construction practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility/project management systems.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a hands-on, business-minded facilities professional who can move comfortably between strategic planning and day-to-day problem solving.
