Government Airport Health Screening Physician Atlanta, GA Up to $175/hrMedix Healthcare Staffing is seeking a physician (MD/DO) to support a federal public health initiative at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.Required Schedule (1 Physician Needed):Tuesday Saturday 6:00am 2:30pmNote: Schedule may shift week to week based on flight schedules. On-call coverage may also be required.Assignment Details:Pay: Up to $175/hrContract: August 3, 2026 February 5, 2027Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Atlanta, GeorgiaLocal candidates from the Greater Atlanta area strongly preferredWhat You Will Be Doing:Evaluate travelers referred after initial nursing screeningConduct focused public health assessments using established federal protocolsProvide clinical guidance and oversight to nursing staffCollaborate with federal agencies and airport personnelDocument assessments and public health interventionsRequirements:MD or DOActive unrestricted U.S. medical licenseBoard Certified preferredClean malpractice historyU.S. Citizen required for federal airport security clearanceAbility to pass an extensive federal background investigationAbility to obtain airport security badgingOnboarding (Required Before Start):Federal background investigationAirport security badgingFingerprintingPPE training and N95 fit testingMandatory training in Atlanta (Tuesday through Friday)
