Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Diverse Staffing is seeking an experienced Acme-Gridley Screw Machine Machinist for a growing manufacturing operation in Jackson, MI.

If you have experience setting up and operating Acme-Gridley screw machines and are looking for a stable first-shift schedule, weekly pay, and long-term career potential, this opportunity offers the chance to work in a skilled machining environment with most weekends off.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who take pride in producing quality parts, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting efficient production operations.

Weekly Pay

Set up and operate Acme-Gridley screw machines for production runs

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met

Read blueprints and production specifications

Follow safety, quality, and production requirements

Mechanical aptitude and machine troubleshooting experience

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift

Ability to work independently and maintain production standards

Manufacturing or machine shop experience

Quality inspection experience

Manufacturing machine shop environment

Exposure to moving machinery and production equipment

Exposure to machine oils, metal shavings, and manufacturing materials

Fast-paced production environment with quality expectations

23.00 per hour
