Salesperson - Full-Time Retail

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

Salary: $16.50 to $19.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $11.81 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

The ability to earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate.

Vacation: one week of paid vacation after six months of active, full-time service; additional vacation after one year and increases thereafter (adjusted for state/local requirements).

Sick/PERSONAL: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2-5); 24 hours after five years (adjusted for state/local requirements).

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Roles include greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assisting with customer inquiries and problem resolution. Associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS the opportunity to earn commission based on productivity. Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate

(Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.

Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.

Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulations.

Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Collaborates with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Completes assigned training successfully.

Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.

May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.

Minimum Age: 18 years old.

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.

Cash handling experience is preferred.

Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and standard office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of personal performance. Payrates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
