General Maintenance and Repair Tech (Full Time)

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Meat Department Maintenance Technician in our Lathrop, CA facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks in the areas of HVAC, Ammonia Refrigeration, PLC Trouble Shooting, Electrical repairs and installations, VFD's, Painting, Pluming, Welding, and Fabrication. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and maintain our building and equipment in the best possible condition.

Perform preventative maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and mechanical systems.
Assist in the testing/repairing of refrigeration systems.
Inspect alarm systems (fire, NH3 ammonia) and schedule repairs.
Perform repairs on building doors, door locks, windows etc.
Approximately 50% of your day will be spent performing preventative maintenance and repairs
Pay Range is $30.71-$33.00 per hour
Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
Some overtime as needed
Weekend and holiday availability required

Five (5) years minimum experience as an "A" Maintenance Mechanic within a meat processing environment.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and other systems.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Ability to work independently and with others and perform duties with minimum supervision.
Ability to complete all assigned work including preventative maintenance and work orders in a timely manner.
