Remote Senior Tax Preparer

Hybrid/Mostly Remote after initial ramp-up
Initial Training:
5+ years of tax preparation experience
Experience preparing and/or reviewing individual and business tax returns
Strong understanding of public accounting and corporate accounting
Strong analytical and tax research skills
Excellent client communication and customer service skills
EA or CPA preferred, but not required
Prepare, review, and file complex federal and state tax returns
Analyze financial information to determine tax liabilities and identify deductions
Assist clients with tax planning strategies
Respond to client tax questions and provide exceptional service
Mentor and train junior tax staff
Stay current on tax law and regulatory changes
The company is growing through both organic growth and acquisitions, creating significant opportunities for career advancement.
Once established in the role, the position offers substantial remote flexibility.
