PRN/Part time Physical Therapist

LICENSED Physical Therapist, Part-Time

We are seeking a Part‑time or PRN LICENSED Physical Therapist to join the in‑house therapy team at Southport Nursing and Rehab located in Southport, Connecticut. Our team is committed to providing warm, compassionate short‑term rehabilitation and nursing care to members of the Southport community and surrounding areas. As a LICENSED Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff to deliver high‑quality care to our residents. Responsibilities

Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist.

Record treatments given and note progress in medical records.

Ensure compliance with all community mandatory education, training, and competence programs.

Provide recommendations to the Director of Rehab and other team members regarding opportunities for business improvement, safety concerns or other updates.

Perform screening rounds as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation to assess for client needs and environmental safety.
