As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role in Portland OR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support a welcoming environment through teamwork integrity and a caring approach while staying agile reliable and innovative throughout each shift.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor entrances exits stockroom areas and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor customer and employee traffic observe for suspicious behavior and report policy violations hazards and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support opening and closing activities access control practices and after-hours patrol responsibilities in accordance with post orders and location expectations.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
