Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access in Corpus Christi TX this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials review visitor and contractor access and maintain required logs and documentation related to security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts supervisors and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Support screening and access procedures for deliveries vehicles and personnel entering controlled areas while following post orders and reporting policy concerns or hazards to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
