Receptionist (WEEKEND SHIFT AND AS NEEDED)

Weekend Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join our team at Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. As a Weekend Receptionist, you will work under the direction of the Office Manager to perform day-to-day receptionist and clerical duties in accordance with current Federal, State, local and facility regulations, guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities:

Answer the phone, direct calls, and take messages

Greet visitors and provide directions to specific locations within the facility

Monitor the activities of residents going in and out of the front door exit and direct or escort those who need supervision

Perform various clerical duties, including filing resident, employee, and business records

Assist with handling the mail, including mailing care plan letters and receiving and delivering mail to the appropriate departments

Maintain and update the resident room board in the lobby area

Report resident incidents and accidents to the nurse immediately, and report personal injuries to the Office Manager

Report any suspected or observed resident abuse to the Administrator immediately

Observe and report needed repairs and service issues

Attend all departmental meetings and/or in-services as required

Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language

Ability to work weekends, with varying shifts
