Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Roll Grinder Operator is responsible for performing receiving inspection, resurfacing, and final inspection of leveler rolls.
Setup, grind, and polish leveler rolls blemish free to customer specifications.
Operate various types of inspection equipment.
Measure rolls for receiving inspection parameters, including a before Pro-mic report.
Document all production and inspection activities on required forms.
Maintain housekeeping of area and equipment.
Perform ultrasound, surface finish, hardness, runout, and all other testing required and record results.
Hazardous Communication training, Forklift training, and Crane Safety training preferred.

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
